Since its launch in January 2021, AME Surgical Journal (ASJ) has been published quarterly. With the growing recognition of ASJ and our authors' continued support, ASJ’s submissions have continued to increase. As a high-quality academic exchange platform, we are committed to publishing articles quickly, allowing for impactful and potentially practice-changing articles to be available to readers as soon as possible after acceptance. Therefore, we are delighted to inform you that the ASJ will become a bimonthly publication beginning in January 2023. The regular publication months will be February, April, June, August, October, December.
The AME Surgical Journal (ASJ; AME Surg J; ISSN: 2788-578X) is an open access, peer-reviewed electronic journal focused on the advancement of surgical science and practice. It aims to provide an international platform for surgeons of various specialties to share, to learn, and to discuss the latest advancement and state-of-the-art research in surgery, promoting research and practice within its various specialties, for the ultimate goal of benefiting patients worldwide.
The scope of ASJ includes: Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Lung Surgery, Esophageal Surgery, Gastric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Breast Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urological Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Transplantation, Anesthesiology etc. ASJ welcomes both invited and freely submitted articles. Surgical videos are highly encouraged. Besides regular issues of the journal, articles in defined areas will be collected and published in themed collections. The entire submission is managed through OJS system, an electronic system to provide an efficient way and ensure a rapid turnaround of papers submitted for publication.
