Dr. Elis completed his MD/PhD at the University of Queensland in 2019. His PhD thesis was centered around the assessment of kidney function following nephrectomy for the management of kidney cancer. His other research involves basic science and clinical research focusing on the diagnosis and management of both kidney cancer and kidney disease. He is currently a physician trainee at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and a lecturer at the University of Queensland based at the Translational Research Institute in Brisbane.
